Offer and conclusion of a contract
With the dispatch of a written order by post, fax, email or via the Internet the customer makes a binding offer to the publishing company for Investigative Science for the conclusion of a contract.
A legally-binding sales contract comes about either when the customer receives the order confirmation by email from the publishing company for Investigative Science or - in so far as the publishing company does not send an order confirmation (which it is not obliged to) - with the dispatch of the ordered goods. The contract is brought about with the customer placing the order even if the customer notifies a delivery address which differs from the customer's own address.
